Emergency Procedures
Learn about our processes for handling emergency situations.
Emergencies can include a nearby gas leak, offsite relocation, power or water outage, weather, or any other issue that risks students’ and staff’s safety.
Whenever there is an issue or if we need students to be picked up, we will notify parents and guardians using:
ParentSquare (calls, emails and texts)
Campus websites
It is important that your information is up to date in the parent portal so that you will receive these messages. Visit the Parent Portal for instructions on how to check and/or update your information.

Standard Response Protocol (SRP)
Students and employees are trained to perform the follow actions during an emergency.
Hold

Lockdown
Evacuate

See the Standard Response Protocol page for details about each of these actions.
Emergency Student Pick-up Procedures
Circumstances may occur at the school that require parents to pick up their students in a formalized, controlled release. This process is called a Reunification and may be necessary due to weather, a power outage, hazmat, or a crisis at the school. The Standard Reunification Method is a protocol that makes this process more predictable and less chaotic for all involved.
